uni and all that. sunday.
Basically right, moved into the majestic Hayes Wharf in Lincoln, (honestly a stunning city with beautiful scenery) on Sunday 19th Sept. I’m studying Graphic Design and Illustration (yay!) The move itself was super easy thanks to my step-dad Alan. The most annoying thing about moving is (as most know) the goodbyes, we all hate them. Now, saying goodbye to my family was easy, no tears, my friends was harder, had to hold back some tears right there. The only one who managed to make me cry? My girlfriend Charli, saying goodbye to her hurt. Did not like. At all. Alas, the first day consisted mostly of unpacking, shopping for food and eating, with a quick hello to my flat mates; Becky, Katie and Ruth, before shooting off with Avril (not Lavigne) for a few drinks. This was initially meant as a Graphic Design meet up, around 30 people turned up, it would have been a success if it wasn’t for the ultra loud music, (lets be honest, shouting at people on the first night of meeting can’t really be a good icebreaker now can it?) And so, after an hour or so of super awkward “Hi’s” and “what’s your name?” people gradually left for the Lady Gaga tribute act. Having neither the money or energy to move to far, we (being Avril, Brendon and his friends Ollie and Jess) ventured to the quite, yet sociable world of Wetherspoons and proceeded to have a very entertaining night due to Brendon being one of the funniest drunks I have ever had the pleasure to be in the company of. And so this is the end :)
